There is this MobileTv software from aljazeera. It is not the Nigerian DSTV, but it is also an internet DSTV.
You can download it with your mobile from here www.m.aljazeera.mobiclip.com . It is in sis and sisx format and works only for S60v2, S60v3, S60v5, Windows Mobile, SamSung Bada, etc. Not for s40 fones.
If you open the link with your mobile, click on the plus sign to see the supported phones and choose the one to download.
This works free only with etisalat because it is not a handler application. It uses direct connection and those using Mtn data plan can also use it.
The MobiTv works with etisalat default settings but different ip.
Use wit etisalat and make sure u have about N10 only in your sim. You can have another sim to transfer credit out.
Use this ip : 080.239.242.253 port 80. Once you are connected, allow it to be running till you are done watching. If you disconnect the eti connection, you will need another N10 to start again.
There is a way to replace the aljazeera channel with France24. Will post all that with how to add more channels as we go along.
